　　ending作名词一般是结局、结尾的意思，例如happy ending。

　2、用法不同：

　　ending是end的现在分词形式。end是指“结束”的状态，多作名词，后面不接其他词，比如：in the end后面不接其他词，at the end+地点、by the end of +时间。

　　ending是指“结束”的过程，多作名词，词组at the ending后面不接其他词。
